This is a creature design for a nocturnal predator. I was really trying to invoke that horrific scary look in the eyes. This was best achieved when adding a glazed over look to the existing paint of the eyes.
I also felt that it would be interesting to have him looking at his "prey" or the "viewer" from an upside down point of view.
The background was left rather simplistic and graphic in nature.
